Ayushmann Khurrana is set to headline Yash Raj Films and Posham Pa Pictures’ first theatrical collaboration, according to sources. It was announced last week that the two production houses will be coming together to jointly produce theatrical films in 2025.

Indian studio Yash Raj Films is partnering with streaming hitmaker Posham Pa Pictures for theatrical films from 2025.

Posham Pa Pictures, acclaimed for its unique creative projects, is excited to start its theatrical journey with YRF, led by founders Sameer Saxena, Amit Golani, Biswapati Sarkar, and Saurabh Khanna.

While YRF has backed films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Veer-Zaara, Posham Pa Pictures has garnered acclaim for OTT shows like Kaala Paani, Mamla Legal Hai, Home Shanti and Jaadugar

India’s biggest legacy media company, Yash Raj Films, announced last week, an exciting creative partnership with Posham Pa Pictures regarded as one of the most forward-thinking voices in Indian entertainment today. This collaboration will see the two jointly produce theatrical films starting 2025.

This partnership aligns with YRF's vision under CEO Akshaye Widhani, marking his second film as a producer following the launch of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in a Mohit Suri-directed young love story.

Ayushmann Khurrana will also be sharing the screen space with Rashmika Mandanna in a horror comedy titled Thama.
