The playoff-starved Carolina Panthers left the locker room Sunday happy, but not yet satisfied. The Panthers finally figured out a way to beat Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a 23-20 victory that gave them sole possession of first place in the NFC South with two games remaining.
The Bucs quarterback is 4-0 against the Panthers since leaving Carolina and has led Tampa Bay to back-to-back division titles in 2023 and ’24. Mayfield will look to continue that success today when the Bucs travel to Charlotte, North Carolina, with first place in the NFC South on the line.
