While Luka Doncic went through his pregame routine on the home half of the Los Angeles Lakers’ court Tuesday night, Anthony Davis emerged from the visitors’ locker room and did his own pregame workout on the other end.

The Los Angeles Lakers secured a hard-fought victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night in a game widely dubbed as Luka Doncic’s “Revenge Game.” The matchup was the first meeting between the two teams since Doncic was traded from Dallas in exchange for Anthony Davis.

It’s still early, and sweeping conclusions are unjustified, but so far, the Lakers have won the trade – on court and in court of public opinion.
