Robert Saleh found himself unemployed when the New York Jets decided to fire him mid-season after a disappointing 2-3 record.

Saleh is scheduled to interview with the Jaguars and Raiders for their head-coaching vacancies. He met with the 49ers on Thursday for their defensive coordinator position. Saleh held that job for four years before the Jets hired him as head coach in 2021.

New York Jets owner Woody Johnson stopped to answer one question outside the locker room after the Jets finished 5-12.

After the Jaguars requested a meeting, Saleh received an interview slip from the Raiders, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reports. Saleh’s Jaguars interview is slated for Tuesday, and it would appear the recently fired Jets HC would need to carve out some time for the Raiders as well.
