The new Mustang Bullitt was launched atthe 2018 Detroit Auto Show alongside the 1968 vehicle. It is due to beavailable later this year with a price tag between US$45,000 to $55,000.

The original 1968 Ford Mustang GT driven by Steve McQueen in the “Bullitt” film goes to Washington, D.C. through April 23.

Ford engineers modified the 2008 Mustang Bullitt's chassis and suspension to fine-tune handling and ensure the extra horsepower and torque from the 4.6-liter V-8 is put to good use.
