The future of Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery is up in the air. Prior to the 2025 season, the talented running back quipped he hoped that fans did not forget about him, as he clearly noticed the increased support for Jahmyr Gibbs.

For the second time in less than a year, the Detroit Lions are looking for a new offensive coordinator after reportedly firing John Morton on Tuesday.

"Like the old Lions, they folded like an accordion," another replied. "Campbell shouldn’t be fired, but he personally cost them a couple of games with his stubbornness. There’s a time and place to go for it on fourth down, must be smarter about when to do it. ... Honeymoon is over."

The Atlanta Falcons have started their interview process, formally speaking with Detroit Lions chief operating officer Mike Disner for their newly created president of football position on Thursday. Disner has spent the last seven seasons working in the Lions front office.
