George Baldock’s fiancee paid tribute to “the perfect dad” after the footballer was found dead in a swimming pool in Greece.

Tributes have been left at Bramall Lane, the home of Sheffield United, following the death of their former player and Greek international George Baldock.

Greek police say there is no evidence that criminal activity caused the death of former Sheffield United defender George Baldock. The death of the 31-year-old Greece international, who signed for Athens club Panathinaikos in the summer, was confirmed in a family statement issued on Wednesday.
