This is the first giraffe born at the Denver Zoo since the 2017 birth of Dobby, who is now the oldest giraffe in their herd.

Amirah, a new baby giraffe, and her calf have started to bond and will have access to the rest of the herd and the full yard after a trial period, pending weather conditions and mom’s choice.
