WASHINGTON – Louisiana U.S. Sen. John N. Kennedy said the Trump administration made a mistake in deporting a Maryland man to El Salvador.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) issued his own criticisms of the Trump administration when it came to the deportation of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Abrego Garcia had a “withholding of removal” order that Democratic lawmakers chalked up to disrupting due process.

U.S. Sen. John Kennedy, at a Monday morning meeting in Broussard, said he doesn't like tariffs and he's not exactly sure what President Donald Trump's plan is on tariffs but expects it will bring countries to the negotiation table.
