The reunion of Ryan Day and Chip Kelly is off to a great start at Ohio State. Day convinced his former college coach to leave his position at the head of the UCLA program to serve as the Buckeyes' offensive coordinator and so far it's resulted in the Buckeyes scoring 108 points in their first two games.

Clemson is 1-1 with an ugly loss to Georgia and a blowout win over Appalachian State in Week 2. NC State is also dealing with a rough start to its season with a narrow win over Western Carolina and a blowout loss to Tennessee. Wolfpack QB Grayson McCall will miss Saturday's game with an injury.

On the other side of the field, Marshall is looking to rebound from a 31-14 loss to the Virginia Tech Hokies. Quarterback Stone Earle had a rough day, completing just 13 of 36 passes for 131 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. The Herd’s ground game was led by A.J. Turner, who ripped off 103 yards on only six carries (17.2 yards per attempt)
