Chrysler's CEO said a Pacifica EV is coming with a design inspired by the Halcyon concept, and it'll likely use the STLA Large platform.

Chrysler is working on a fully electric version of the Chrysler Pacifica minivan, according to Green Car Reports. The EV version reportedly would “likely” come a year after the company debuts a Pacifica design refresh that features elements of the Halcyon concept that Stellantis showed off earlier this year.

Chrysler only has one model on sale right now - the Pacifica - two if you'll count the plug-in hybrid model separately. The American marque, however, is currently working on electric vehicles to fill its lineup in the next few years,

On Thursday at the 2024 LA Auto Show, Chrysler CEO Christine Feuell confirmed to Green Car Reports that the upcoming electric Chrysler minivan will bear the Pacifica name. "There's so much equity in the market, consumers have a favorable opinion about Pacifica and very high awareness. I see no reason at this point to change the name," Feuell said.
