RFK Racing has issued a statement following Ryan Preece's disqualification from the NASCAR Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. After Preece crossed the line in second position in the Jack Link's 500, NASCAR disqualified the driver for unapproved shims in the rear spoiler.

Ryan Preece and Joey Logano had a good run at Talladega last weekend during the NASCAR Cup Series race. However, the two Ford drivers were given bad news after the race.

Following in the footsteps of Team Penske, RFK Racing will not attempt to appeal the disqualification of Ryan Preece. Preece and Joey Logano were disqualified from the Talladega race after post-race inspection by NASCAR.
