In a positive development for travellers, starting December 1, 2024, Thailand is launching a new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system for visitors from visa-exempt countries, including India.
Thailand has also taken a major step to become more tourist-friendly by increasing the number of countries eligible for visa-free entry from 57 to 93, including China and India.
Under Thailand's visa-free policy, which extends until November 2024, Indian nationals have continued to travel with ease.
It is located on the eastern Caribbean island and is visa-free for Indians. Thailand has gained popularity as a unique and fun travel destination among the Indian community in recent years.
