I sympathize with preferring a gaming PC over a PS5 Pro. As I said recently, I’ve been a PlayStation fan for over 20 years but I’m skipping the PS5 Pro because I already own a gaming rig. However, I understand that not everyone can afford a gaming PC or might not have room for a big desktop.

The PS5 Pro has been a hot-ticket item in the gaming world since pre-orders opened up due to its upgraded specs that promise to elevate both graphics and framerate. Naturally, this also means that pre-orders on the standard and 30th Anniversary Edition versions have been regularly selling out.

On September 10, after months and months of rumors, Sony officially unveiled the PS5 Pro. The console costs $700 and will offer developers more power and, in theory, let players enjoy more games at higher framerates without having to sacrifice resolution or extra details.
