A collision involving a school bus on its morning route sent 20 people to the hospital, Iowa deputies said. The school bus carrying students driven by a 76-year-old man just outside Granville collided with a 23-year-old driving a pickup truck, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office said in a Nov. 5 news release.

Twenty-one students were on board the Randolph Eastern School Corporation bus at the time of the crash, according to representatives from the Union City Fire Department on the scene. Initially, we were told 19 students we on board.

Neal Adams, the school district's superintendent, confirmed 21 students and one driver were on the bus at the time of the crash. Adams said two students and the driver were taken

A school bus, with 21 children onboard, crashed in Randolph County on Wednesday morning. According to a press release from the Randolph Eastern School Corporation, a bus driver was in a crash at the corner of Jackson and Hickory.
