Ed Chamberlin has said he was so hurt by criticism of ITV’s coverage of the deaths of three horses at Cheltenham, he wanted Match of the Day to come calling.

Bangers And Cash, Abuffalosoldier and Napper Tandy died at Cheltenham Racecourse on Sunday. The British Horseracing Authority is reviewing each of the incidents

There was no causal link between the three horses who died at Cheltenham on Sunday, according to the BHA, after post-mortem results were released on Thursday.

Abuffalosoldier and Bangers and Cash collapsed after and during the running of Holland Coooper Handicap Chase while Napper Tandy suffered a fatal injury after a fall.
