Elon Musk might be in charge of the business of Grok, but the artificial intelligence has seemingly gone into business for itself, labeling Musk as one of the worst offenders when it comes to spreading misinformation online.

Elon Musk's own AI model, Grok, has publicly acknowledged that the billionaire has spread misinformation on his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter). In response to a user's inquiry, Grok confirmed that there is substantial evidence suggesting Musk's posts,

“Based on various analyses, social media sentiment, and reports, Elon Musk has been identified as one of the most significant spreaders of misinformation on X since he acquired the platform,” Grok replied.

Grok AI is currently limited to X Premium users, but some people are reportedly limited access to the AI chatbot even without an X subscription.

Moreover, this contradicts the fact that Musk and xAI made Grok's AI language model open source, particularly as it looks to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT in the market, with its LLM closely sourced.

In response to user Gary Koepnick's inquiry about him being responsible for spreading the most misinformation on X, the chatbot surprisingly said 'Yes.'
