Editorial staffers are "in the dark" on what the spinoff means for the NBC News-MSNBC connection moving forward, one NBC News producer told TheWrap. The expectation, though, is that the two news teams will no longer work together,

"People don't really know what's going on," an insider close to the network said. "They had the election, holidays are coming up. People are tired and just trying to get through."
