Protests are growing in Minneapolis amid anger over the deadly ICE shooting there. Democratic lawmakers have condemned the actions of the ICE officer while Vice President Vance strongly defended him today.

Local activists in North Carolina held demonstrations to protest the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Macklin Good by an ICE officer in Minneapolis, calling for accountability and demanding ICE's departure.

Iran has insisted for decades that its nuclear program is peaceful. However, its officials have increasingly threatened to pursue a nuclear weapon. Iran had been enriching uranium to near weapons-grade levels prior to the U.S. attack in June, making it the only country in the world without a nuclear weapons program to do so.
