McDonald's brought back the fan-favorite Snack Wrap on Thursday, June 10, at restaurants nationwide. First introduced in 2006, the Snack Wrap is available in two flavors: Ranch, featuring hints of garlic and onion, and Spicy, which has a habanero kick.
For years, McDonald's fans have tried to order the Snack Wrap drive-thrus across the country, despite the meal getting cut from menus in 2016.
A new version of the fan favorite, the Snack Wrap is one of McDonald's new McCrispy Strips topped with shredded lettuce and shredded cheese, wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. They're available in either Spicy (with a habanero kick) or Ranch (with Ranch dressing and hints of garlic and onion).
McDonald’s first launched the snack wrap in 2006, and the item became a crowd favorite, particularly for the $2 price. The Golden Arches discontinued the Snack Wrap in 2016. In the meantime, other fast food chains are trying to woo McDonald’s fans with their chicken options.
With prices up and foot traffic down, the fast-food giant — and Long Island franchise owners — hope familiar favorites will bring diners back.
