New York State Police say they are now conducting two investigations into Long Island State Trooper Thomas Mascia, who claimed he was shot in the leg while on the job last week.

The investigation into Thomas Mascia's conduct is "far from over" as investigators continue to piece together what happened, an official said.

Officials say the investigation is far from over and no one has been arrested -- but the trooper was found to be in violation of their rules and regulations.
