Uranium prices rose Friday after Russia announced temporary restrictions on the export of enriched uranium to the U.S., although uranium-related shares trade mixed after moving higher on the initial news.

Russia is temporarily limiting exports of enriched uranium to the US, creating potential supply risks to utilities operating American reactors that generate almost a fifth of the country’s electricity.
