Apple has released iOS 18 beta 3 with a change that forces dark mode icons onto every app that has a simple color palette, for better or worse.

The Dark icons are all redesigned with a black background rather than a white or colored background, which makes them blend in better with the ‌Dark Mode‌ setting.
