Rochester, N.Y. — A man was injured in a shooting on Avenue C Friday evening. Just before 7:00 p.m., officers responded to the area of Avenue D and Hollenbeck Street for a report of shots heard.

East Avenue C between Ninth Street and 16th Street in Bismarck will temporarily close starting Monday for about two weeks for street construction.

The incident was reported around 11:20 a.m. at Sierra Highway and Avenue C, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Officers were sent to Roberts Park at 2755 Avenue C at about 3:25 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
