Leaders say rising costs forced the difficult decision to close the neighborhood food pantry at the end of March after about four decades of service.

The closure comes after Tilray Brands, a global cannabis and craft brewing company based in Canada, acquired the U.K. operations for BrewDog and on the same day acquired its Australia operations.
