Fulham Broadway station is the closest on the Underground network to Chelsea FC's Stamford Bridge ground. The incident happened shortly after Chelsea beat Leeds United 1-0 in the Premier League.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Fulham Broadway underground station at 3.27pm yesterday (1 October) to reports of a casualty on the tracks.
