October 9th update: Google has responded to Amazon’s Prime Day sale with its own discounts. The Pixel 8a has been discounted by $50, bringing it down to $449. There are also enhanced trade-in prices, which includes $135 for the Pixel 6a and a maximum value of $400 if the Pixel 7 Pro is handed over. Obviously this wouldn’t be a good trade to make.

SAVE $350: As of Oct. 10, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is on sale for $649 at Amazon. That's a saving of 35% on list price. Prime Day is a great excuse to upgrade your phone and save some money, and there's a handful of deals still live after the event.

The Google Pixel 8 is still a top-tier device, and the huge Amazon sale has slashed the asking price by 42% until tomorrow night.

SAVE $79: The Google Pixel Watch 2 is on sale at an all-time low price on Amazon Prime Day. It'll run you $170.99, which is a 32% drop from its list price of $249.99.

Fitbit and Google have put out some very good discounts throughout the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale so far, but this is by far the best. Right now, you can get the Google Pixel Watch 2 down from $373 to just $199 on Amazon, its lowest price ever and a 46% discount.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro will launch at a starting price of ₹1,09,999 in the Indian market. So far, there is no word on its availability in physical retail stores like Croma and Reliance Digital. Google and Flipkart have also not revealed any bank discounts for Pixel 9 Pro. These details are likely to be revealed during the first sale on October 17.

I updated the Pixel 8a to the Android 15 Beta in mid-August, so some of the issues I've encountered might not affect users on a stable release. That said, Android 15 has been fairly stable during my usage.
