The Ohio State-Michigan rivalry is always on the mind of both fan bases, even when the programs are playing other teams. And with "The Game" about three weeks away, the Ohio State marching band sent a shot across the bow at the Wolverines during halftime of the Buckeyes' game against the Purdue Boilermakers at Ohio Stadium.

Ohio State walloped Purdue 45-0 on Saturday. In typical fashion, the Buckeyes — their marching band — had its mind on another Big Ten school. Yes, Michigan. At halftime the Buckeyes band went into a bear formation. And then, it added some stench to the rivalry that will pick up again later this month.

The Game is still three weeks away, but it's never too early for trash talk between Ohio State and Michigan. During the Ohio State band's halftime performance on Saturday, it added some fresh fuel to an already acrimonious rivalry.
