The Raiders might look to Aidan O’Connell as the quarterback after Gardner Minshew suffered a broken collarbone in the loss to the Broncos last week. O’Connell has been on the IR since October, though, with a broken thumb. The initial timeline for his return was estimated to be 4-6 weeks.

Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce announced that quarterback Aidan O’Connell was designated to return from injured reserve Monday and will participate in a walk-through Tuesday. O’Connell has been sidelined since suffering a broken thumb on his throwing hand against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7.
