A man was found floating outside an ATM outlet on the flooded street in Chennai. IMD issued a red alert for heavy rains in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on December 1.

As per the video shared, a few men were seen prodding the dead body with a wooden pole and then pulling out of the floodwaters.

Cyclone Fengal - pronounced 'Feinjal' - is likely to make landfall this evening between Karaikal and Mahabalipuram with a wind speed of 70-80 km per hour, gusting up to 90 kmph.
