Kidnapping and rape survivor Denise Huskins spoke to reporters in Seaside on Tuesday about how she helped investigators find more victims who were allegedly targeted by Matthew Muller. The Muller case regained traction after it was detailed in a popular Netflix documentary,

Two weeks after he drugged and kidnapped Denise Huskins from her Vallejo, California home in 2015, "American Nightmare" kidnapper Matthew Muller allegedly committed another crime in neighboring Contra Costa County.

Matthew Muller, the man convicted of the high-profile kidnapping and rape of Denise Huskins in Vallejo, was charged on Monday with another kidnapping that happened in 2015 in Contra Costa County. Muller was also charged last week for a series of 2009 home invasions in Santa Clara County.

Matthew Muller, featured in the Netflix documentary 'American Nightmare,' was charged with another home invasion in the Bay Area, the second time in recent weeks that new crimes have been attributed to the convicted kidnapper.

In addition to the "American Nightmare" case and another home invasion, Matthew Muller is now linked to a 1993 kidnapping and sexual assault case, along with two home invasions in 2009 and a 2015 home invasion and kidnapping case.

Matthew Muller, already serving a 40-year sentence in the Denise Huskins case, had been terrorizing the community for two decades before the widely known "American Nightmare" case, prosecutors said.
