While the majority of the region will stay dry, just enough lingering moisture will result in a very slim chance of a stray shower by the afternoon and early evening. Rain chances will only reach 20% at best.

This warm and dry pattern will continue into the weekend with little changing with the forecast. So if you have outdoor plans the heat will be the primary concern with highs reaching the low to mid 90s and heat indices 100-105! And rain looks unlikely although a very brief shower cannot be ruled out in the afternoon hours.

With shifting winds to the north and then northeast, dry air to the north is being pushed south into the Suncoast. It is not a dramatic push of dry air, but it will be noticeable in the days to come.

Highs will stay into the upper 80s and low 90s over the next 5 days with low humidity as well so you could go outside and enjoy the nicer weather.
