From repeated rejection to the Playoff Mentor’s chair, Wilson’s trajectory on The Voice has been “pretty crazy!”

Interestingly enough, Lainey was also rejected the same amount of times by American Idol. She technically made it onto that show, but she never made it past the first round. Just goes to show you that these competitions – and the judges that reign over them – might not be experts in super star potential.
