Former NBA head coach Phil Jackson isn't active on social media by any means, but he felt compelled to speak out on X on Sunday. In his first post in nearly a year, Jackson expressed his displeasure at the NBA scheduling multiple games on Christmas and Easter.

During a 2023 appearance on the “Tetragrammaton with Rick Rubin” podcast, Jackson criticized the NBA’s decision to embrace social justice messaging during the 2020 season in the bubble, calling the decision to allow players to wear supporting messages “wanky.”
