A ticket sold in New Jersey won $1 million in Saturday night's Powerball, according to the Powerball website. The ticket matched all five white balls to win the million-dollar prize. The New Jersey Lottery announced Monday that the winning ticket was sold at the ShopRite supermarket on Beaverbrook Road in Lincoln Park (Morris County).

More than 670,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said. The Powerball jackpot has not been hit since Dec. 7, when a New York player won the $256 million grand prize, lottery officials said.

For the fourth time so far in 2025, the Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has been hit. The New Jersey Lottery announced Wednesday that a Monmouth County ticket matched the five numbers to win the $248,541 jackpot on Tuesday night.
