A FLOOD WATCH has been issued for Westmoreland, Fayette, Monongalia, Preston and Garrett counties due to the concern of snow melt and ice jams creating rapid rises on streams, creeks and river. Keep in mind, a watch means flooding is possible. It is not a certainty.

There is a risk of flooding and sewer backups Friday morning across the Chicago area as heavy rain will run off from frozen ground, officials said.

Around 1 to 3 inches of ran is expected across the region by Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
