Sachin Tendulkar will be honoured with the highest honour by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) at the Naman Awards on Saturday (February 1). The Indian cricket legend played for India in 200 Tests and 463 ODIs in a career that lasted 24 years before his retirement in 2013.

In 2023, the lifetime honour was bestowed on former India head coach Ravi Shastri and wicket-keeping great Farokh Engineer.
