The decision came barely five weeks after the Sky fired Teresa Weatherspoon after her debut season as a WNBA coach — and one day after the Indiana Fever hired Stephanie White for their coaching vacancy.

Reports emerged on Saturday afternoon indicating that Chicago had locked in on Las Vegas Aces assistant Tyler Marsh as their top candidate in the hiring process. Sure enough, it was announced shortly after that Marsh had in fact been hired to replace Weatherspoon as the team's next head coach.
