WEB4,012. 4 hours of use per day is hardly a risk for burn in. There are those who have been using their OLED's for anywhere from 8-12 hours per day for YEARS without any sign of burn in still. Really at this point I think burn in is 99.9% avoidable as long as you know what you are doing, at least in the short term.

WEBOct 29, 2021 — I use LG UW 21:9 (poor hdr on it so leave it off) as my main PC display. The LG 55in CX oled is connected to the PC but I only really use it for my consoles (PS5/Switch) + movies. I suppose its tempting to use the OLED for PC HDR games but normally the UW monitor gets used even though I have light bleeding on it. But I just love the extra FOV.

WEBJun 17, 2021 — The G9 is an edge-lit display with very few dimming zones. That cannot compared to an OLED. Even G-Sync Ultimate monitors like the ASUS PG35VQ, which has hundreds of dimming zones, cannot compare to OLED when displaying darker scenes. They do look better in bright scenes, though.
