WEBThe 1080p @ 120 FPS just leaves too much bandwidth left on the table for your standard HDMI 2.0. Glad I got an Asus 170 Hz monitor over a TV. Also glad to see developers taking advantage of 1440p for console versions. I love playing games 1440p @ 120 FPS on Series X and then use the same monitor to play games at 1440p @ 144 FPS on my gaming laptop.

I’d wager that a 120fps display is a selling point or useful to gamers. 120fps is 4k is neat, but not practical. You’re gonna hate the file sizes and the work flow.

WEBMay 5, 2022 — It has VRR support, HDMI 2.1, Gsync, Freesync, low latency boost, i think like 1 ms, 120hz @ 4k via HDMI 2.1. its amazing, so if you don't have a current graphics card then you won't get 120 hz as the tv only takes hdmi. I think Display Port 1.3 does 4k @ 120 so that may be the deal breaker

A 4090 will be able to run pretty much every game that isn't completely shit in optimization at 4K/120 FPS. 1440p is fine but I say 4K/144hz is the way to go, 4K is nice. It all really depends on your budget, though.
