Nov 30, 2017 · This is quite surprising, but based on the ethics I have seen AirBnB display it makes some sense. I still can't believe I had to share so much private information to rent through the AirBnB service. I don't think banks collect as much information when they loan you money.

As I mentioned, Airbnb doesn't always get the taxes right. Sometimes they apply the wrong TAID (Tax Area ID Number) to a listing and of course the taxes will be wrong.

Therefore, the final number the guest sees includes the Airbnb Guest Service Fee on top of what your offer is; there should be no taxes, as you are doing the 30+ minimum.

Jan 23, 2025 · Airbnb has expanded the Pet Fee options and you might consider a per pet option since you accept 2 pets. I would add some pet policies to your Addl House Rules. You can type Pet Rules in the search the community box to get some ideas.
