May 13, 2022 · When on the phone with the agent I specifically asked if any equipment needed to be returned. I had purchased my own router and modem. I was told I was all set, nothing needed to be returned. Today I got a bill for $120 for the non-returned flex box. By the way, this is the "free" flex box that was sent to me automatically-I did not request it.

Jul 26, 2020 · I have the Flex box connected directly to my router via an Ethernet cable. Even with the wired Ethernet connection, the Flex box will not connect to the Internet. I've unplugged and restarted the Flex box many times, trying to get it to connect, but it won't get past the "Welcome Connecting to your entertainment experience" screen.

Feb 22, 2025 · I’ve been a customer of Comcast/Xfinity for 20 years on and off depending on my living situation. Recently moved in with someone and had to disconnect service at my old residence. I come to find out that they are charging me for unreturned equipment - a flex streaming box that they sent me and I never used or even opened.

Jun 6, 2023 · I am moving and need to cancel the Xfinity plan, they require you to return the Flex box which was free of charge at the beginning and did not tell me to return. They charge you $100+ for something they did not specifically say in the beginning, I did not want the flex box in the first place but they give you anyway.

Apr 2, 2022 · No matter how many times we do a system refresh, unplug the box, check the connection, forget the device-- nothing works. My headphones appear in the list but the connection fails. I have not had any issues connecting them with any other device and again, I used to be able to connect them to my flex box without any problems.

Aug 20, 2021 · I unplugged the Flex box to use that outlet for the ac. I have since moved the Flex box to my Livingroom and plugged it into a tv there. To appease the system gods, I watched a movie on Peacock Premium. I will be keeping Flex as I can watch movies on channels like Peacock Premium, included, that aren't available on my Roku.
