Konnie Huq (born Kanak Asha Huq / ˈhʌk /; on 17 July 1975) is a British television and radio presenter, screenwriter and children's author. She became the longest-serving female presenter of the British children's television programme Blue Peter, presenting it from 1997 to 2008.

UK Top 40 was a charts-based programme which aired on Sundays at 6pm on the CBBC channel from 2002 to 2005. The Show relaunched in Autumn 2002 along with the new CBBC line up. The shows launch presenters were Konnie Huq and Adrian Dickson and the show was a huge success they continued it over for another series in 2003.

Konnie Huq was born on 17 July 1975 in London, England, UK. She is an actress and writer, known for Black Mirror (2011) , Robin Hood (2006) and A Touch of Cloth (2012) . She has been married to Charlie Brooker since 26 July 2010.

Between 2002 and 2004, Konnie co-presented CBBC’s UK Top 40 (2002-2005) chart show, was briefly a presenter for Top of the Pops (1964-2006) and presented GMTV’s LK Today (2000-2009) coverage of New York Fashion Week 2007.

In the early 2000s, she hosted such television programs as UK Top 40 and Top of the Pops. She studied economics at Robinson College, Cambridge. Kanak Asha Huq attended Notting Hill & Ealing High School and Cambridge University, Robinson College.
