It is there on the regular keyboard for emails etc. not sure what that means..."I cannot find that key on the keyboard used to passwords" I know in Mail.app for example you can not be in the address window for the full keyboard since semi-colon are not allowed.

Dec 7, 2010 · This laptop has a standard US style keyboard. The ; key is at the right side of the L key, so it is not that near the space bar. As mentioned in the first posting of this thread, my "v" key also displays "v4", the same for the "4" key, it also shows "v4".

Mar 10, 2022 · I find this baffling, but I simply cannot type the semicolon (the symbol ; ) on a MacBook Pro 2021 with the Hungarian - 101 key keyboard. I have checked the settings that show what keys are used for which character (under Keyboard -> Input Sources), but the semicolon is simply non-existent. So yeah, the question is in the title.

About changing your name, see this instructions: Change Name, Phone, Email preferences for your Apple ID on Mac. You can also try logging in to appleid.apple.com to make changes to your account.
