Jun 16, 2023 · Transfer Express DTF gang sheets are really nice because you can fit a bunch of different size designs onto one sheet, you cut them and press them, so the cost per print can get really low but I personally wasn’t a fan of the feel of the transfers compared to supacolor.

Jun 18, 2024 · I know DTF ink is mainly used for transfer sheets and clothing, however…can I use it on sticker paper and make stickers? I don’t want to try and ruin anything before attempting this. Also, any tips or tricks would be appreciated.

I recently converted my 8550 to DTF and was getting great prints initially when all of a sudden the printer stopped printing the white underlayer. On the pictures themselves white would print just not on the back layer like it's supposed to.

Jul 1, 2023 · When I print dtf I'll lower the platen one "click" and then I'll use flat metal pieces on the corners to keep the transfer paper from moving. It also helps if you make sure the wheels are locked on your printer, when you print. I'd also do a complete cleaning to your caps, wiper blade, and most definitely the white print heads.

Nov 7, 2022 · Also get halfway decent film, powder, and inks. No need to spend multiple thousands of dollars on a DTF printer unless it carries a lifetime warranty or something. In which case that might be worth it; DTF converted printers tend to lose print heads after a year or so, possibly faster with more frequent use.

Mar 22, 2022 · DTF good for polyester and resale of prints.. also handy for inner neck tags too.. DTF cheap options with 3rd party modded equipment.. me, I for OEM DTG and best of both worlds, depends on budget too..

May 18, 2023 · This is what happens after baking my DTF prints. After the initial print, everything looks fine, there are no spots or blotches etc, but after baking these marks appear. I've tried different temps and times in the oven, as well as different brands of DTF film, with results ranging from mild to extreme (As seen in the images).
