Windows Scanning - NAPS2
Download the NAPS2 installer from the download page. Using the .exe installer is recommended, but you can use the .msi installer for Organization Use or the .zip as a portable archive. naps2-7.5.2-win.exe.

Batch Scanning - NAPS2
NAPS2 has a batch scanning feature to automate some scanning tasks. Under the "Scan" dropdown you can click "Batch Scan".

Troubleshooting - NAPS2
I can't select my scanner. Try each of these steps and see if they fix the problem: Make sure your scanner is plugged in, turned on, and connected to your computer. Make sure you have your scanner's drivers installed. Google "(model number) drivers" if you need to find them. In your profile settings, try switching between different driver options.
Scanner Sharing - NAPS2
NAPS2 allows you to use scanners connected to one computer from any other computer on the local network. Scanners can be shared across Windows, Mac, and Linux using the ESCL driver.
OCR - NAPS2
To start using OCR, click the "OCR" button in the toolbar (or "Tools" → "OCR" on Mac). The first time you click the "OCR" button, you'll be prompted to download a language. Pick whichever languages you want to use for OCR, then click "Download".
