Aug 23, 2023 · Windows 10 in S mode doesn't support this version of Office. Use Office 1902 or later or switch out of S mode. I appreciate the message stated "Windows 10", but I really was running Windows 11. I went back to the supplier's website & they categorically stated that I needed to upgrade to Office 2021. That did load without errors.

Dec 19, 2021 · Given that this is a brand new computer, if this were me, I would do the following. #1 - Do factory reset on this computer to return it to its original state. #2 - Uninstall the Microsoft 365 trial version (Settings --> Apps> --> scroll down to <Microsoft 365> --> uninstall. #3 - Install Office Pro Plus before installing anything else.
