WEBI’m in the Chicago suburbs, and I think the Fermi Lab particle accelerator, the Byron nuclear reactor a bit further east, and Starved Rock (I imagine it being some of the last quality soil post-apocalypse, but I’m not a horticulturist), could all do for some interesting area-specific focuses for a bit of flavor in either the Chicago/northwestern Illinois countries.

WEBWe tried releasing a mostly contentless blank map before when we released 5.0's map inside of the 4.0 update, but didn't give that area a lot of nuance or explanation there. Feedback showed that players didn't really jive with it. When the Midwest Brotherhood gets added to the map, players will expect a focus tree for that nation.

WEBThe Midwest should be West of the Mississippi, and those colored states East of it should be considered in the Ohio Valley and/or Great Lakes regions. Unless you want to call them MID-EASTERN states. If they are in the eastern half of the country, why would you call them Mid-WESTERN?
