Everything works perfectly: video, keyboard, mouse, etc. My total is about $50: - Raspberry Pi 4 1GB: $35. - HDMI to USB capture dongle: $10. - USB-C Y-cable for better power: $6. Make sure you follow the instructions at GitHub carefully and plug in the dongle into the specific USB port (bottom left for Pi4).

Jul 1, 2021 · Use the correct USB cables to plug the RPi into the KVM, as though you are plugging in a KB and Mouse. Plug the KVM's monitor output into the PiKVM's camera/input card you've added. Basically, your Pi becomes a remote keyboard/mouse output to the KVM. I'm sure the blog post has the step-by-step details for how to configure it.

Everything pretty well worked straight out of the gate, including the CSI to HDMI adapter. I used bluetooth to interface with the keyboard and mouse, so I didnt even need to deal with the usb c power.

Nov 30, 2020 · PI-KVM on rock64 board. I've managed to install PI-KVM on rock64 board, based on rk3328 SOC. I'm using the mainline ArchLinux armv8/aarch64 kernel and rootfs, so I had to build pikvm/kvmd and dependencies from source and patch a few things to make it work. Some features are broken, but it's functional, including the OTG HID via A-to-A cable.
