Buying a used PS4 Pro, is there anything I should know?
Jun 13, 2017 · That's quite the deal for a barley used PRO in Canada if you ask me. It's $500 brand new plus 13% provincial tax which equals to $565 Canadian if you would buy it new here. So I am saving $135 Canadian ($102 US to be exact) a brand new PS4 Pro from wal mart will cost a US $427 after taxes.

4 days ago · The PS4 Pro version used checker-board rendering with up-scaling at the horizontal access, the One X versions runs with native pixels. The PS4 Pro version's checker-boarding implementation is kinda subpar and has a lot of artifacts. This was one of those weird games that changed rendering styles if you set your PS4 Pro to 1080p on the system level.

Aug 29, 2021 · I'm undecided whether to play it again on PS4 Pro or wait for a PS5 and play it at 60 FPS. And I agree that TLOU2 was amazing. A lot of people shits on the game and especially Abby, but her character was pretty unique and I loved how her personality unfolds over the course of the story. And on PS4 Pro it was a neat experience.

That's Sony's stated reason for the PS4 Pro existing. Stands to reason that the PS5 Pro is being built for the same reason.

Nov 3, 2024 · PS4 Pro didn't have a built in SSD. All/Most fast SSDs use SDRAM as cache buffer, the PS5 has something like 512MB for the SSD cache. With the Pro being 2TB it fits with a 2GB cache. For example the Samsung 990 Pro SSD has the following cache memory options: 1 TB: 1 GB of Samsung 1GB Low Power DDR4 SDRAM.

Sep 27, 2017 · Member. Go to your account on https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com and go to the Devices tab, choose "PlayStation systems" and deactivate it. When I transferred all my data to the Pro, it said it already deactivated my old PS4. and when I log on that website only 1 PS4 is shown as being activated.
Now that we have the PS5 Pro in hand, what's your thoughts?
